Rainy Day Cabaret

Non Edwards grew up in New Virginia, IA studying ballet, pointe, and jazz. She got her degree in math from Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. Non discovered modern dance in college, and danced and choreographed with the Grinnell College Dance Troupe for three years. After graduating, she performed and choreographed for two seasons with the 940 Dance Company in Lawrence, Kansas. While in Kansas, Non taught ballet and modern to adults, youth, and children at the Lawrence Arts Center. In June 2009 Non moved to Minneapolis. In Minnesota she has presented choreography as part of an Open Call Cabaret at Patrick's Cabaret, as part of Sarah LaRose Holland's Kinetic Kitchen in March 2010, and her hour-long dance show "Before the Dawn" will be performed at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis as part of the 2010 Minnesota Fringe Festival.
